No!No! Update

Soooooo an update on my No!No!
It finally arrived, and I gleefully plugged it in to charge for the recommended 8 hours prior to first use.
And it does mostly work.  Kind of.
Is it worth $250?  No.
I wanted to love this product so badly.
I wanted it to be the miracle that I was hoping for.
I know I've only had it for a month (PS Shipping was super fast! I had it in less than a week!) but I really am not blown away by it.
It's hard to know if a hair has been treated, especially on my legs where the hair lies very close to the skin. There is the burning hair smell, but it lingers, so is it from the hair you are attempting to treat currently or the hair you treated 2 minutes ago?  I tried doing my armpits and bikini like, and I found it super awkward and difficult.  You have to glide it along your skin at a steady pace for a couple seconds before you see the wire heat up and start glowing.  In a small confined space like the underarm or bikini area I found that next to impossible.
I did successfully treat my forearms a couple of times, but it was never totally smooth, even after buffing.  My legs I found it difficult to tell if the hairs had actually made contact with the wire, and you aren't supposed to go over the same area more than 3 or so times.
I didn't like the buffer either.
There's still a month left in my 60 day trial, so we're going to give it a shot on Devin's upper shoulder area (It's so cute that he hates it so much {don't tell him I told you :P}).
But I think that my final decision is probably going to be to return it.
I've recently discovered sugaring, and it's supposed to result in way less ingrowns.  I've never had problems with ingrowns on my underarms or bikini area, only my legs, and I've found a place relatively close to me that does sugaring so I'm going to make an appointment once my armpits have grown out long enough.
I've actually already tried making my own sugar at home and done my legs with it, and it is definitely less painful than waxing, and relatively easy to make.  Using it is kind of tricky, but I watched lots and lots of youtube videos to get the tips and tricks.
I'm gonna let the pros do my pits and ladybits though, I don't have the flexibility or enough hands to trust myself to do it.  I've tried both with those at home wax kits, and that was difficult and painful and awkward.  And sugaring involves flicking around what is essentially a piece of caramel.  And I'm good, but I'm not that good.
Bottom line for the No!No! is if it was only $100 or even maybe $150 I would consider keeping it.  But at $250 I think it's way too steep a price for something that is so limited in it's usage.  I can only use it on my legs and forearms.  And prior to owning it, I NEVER shaved or waxed or spend any time thinking about my arm hair.  It's always been light and easy to ignore.  I just tried cause I figured it would be a good test patch. And I've had very blah results on my legs.  Also, one of my main reasons for getting it was for my bikini area.  And it's been useless for that.  Back to waxing I go.  Well, sugaring.  And if sugaring is a bust, back to waxing! Lol.  Oy.  I'll probably try for another update before I send it back.

If you find sugaring interesting, search for Alexandria Body Sugar on YouTube.  They have the best videos as far as technique, and the recipe as well as general info and stuff I found on this site.  I didn't use organic lemons and cane sugar though, I used lemon juice concentrate and plain white sugar.
Happy hair removal!
