First progress shot!

It's incredibly frustrating that we have had posession for coming up on a week now and haven't really moved any furniture yet. But! The master bedroom has been painted and we will hopefully have the new carpet in tonight, which means our bed and dressers can FINALLY MOVE. And then I will be able to sleep there and it will be less surreal. 

Devin went back up north this morning. There was a mixup with their rooms and I got to have him at home for 2 more days so that was wonderful. But this time saying goodbye was the hardest so far. So much emotional stress with the house and move and just wanting him here and not getting to have him around finally got to me. It's so incredibly difficult to put into words the mess of emotions going on right now. 

Plus it's a certain time of the month which really did not help my emotional state. 

But I am just focusing now on creating our home for when Devin comes home so that we can just relax and enjoy our time together next round.

Sneak peek at the new. (Props to my lovely mother in law for being such an amazing help with all the painting. She has also offered to paint the entire laundry/storage/maintenance room. Thats a lot of concrete!)
