Oh my goodness. And an update!

I am really rather awful at this whole consistent posting thing. I started back at work at the start of Feb and have been working insanely long days. And I kind of forgot that I have an app on my phone from which I can easily write posts. Whoops. 

So I'm now going to tell you a fun story, slash make an announcement that I really don't know why I didn't make in my last post?? Perhaps because I was still in my 'keep it off the internet for a couple weeks' stage? I don't know. 

Devin and I are getting married!!

In a completely unexpected (well not completely in that I didn't know he wanted to marry me, but I was not expecting it for a few more months at least) turn of events, during the countdown to midnight on New Year's Eve, he got down on one knee and told me that he wanted to start the new year off right with a kiss from his future wife. Excuse me while I pause to make cooing noises because he's adorable. 

He told his sister what was happening a few minutes before so she was ready with her phone to take pictures. 

I'm pretty sure I said yes and had the ring on before he finished speaking. 

We did not, for whatever reason, take a picture together after that. Probably because we were both a little giddy. 

So far we have set a date for Fall of 2015. Which seems SO far away, but at the same time, with the number of DIY things I have planned, I am pretty sure it will soon seem like not enough time by far!

Hopefully our reception venue will be booked this month, and then our date will be official!
