I got my bikini sugared. Hurts way less than waxing, I highly recommend going to the pros tho. I went to Melissa at Alexandria Body Sugaring and Tanning Hut on Regent Ave. She was great.
It's been a week and I'm still loving it.
My underarms weren't long enough to get sugared, and she said they needed 4-7 more days of growth. I was not cool with not shaving for another week. Nope. So I decided to try waxing them myself at home. (I am an idiot. Trust me.) So I cut up the strips we have into pieces that were about 1x2 inches. I figured work in small sections and I'll be fine. Stupid. If the hair isn't long enough to sugar, it's not long enough to wax. Duh Brynne.
So I did something crazy. Insane.
I dug my epilator out of the drawer I had thrown it in years ago. And I used it on my armpits. And it didn't hurt. At least not compared to my recent wax attempt.
Provided I don't get crazy skin reactions, I think it's my new favorite thing for my armpits. Favorite. Ever.
I'm gonna give it another go on my legs too, and make sure to moisturize and exfoliate like a crazyperson to try to prevent my weird ingrowns that I get. They aren't angry, just...there.
I'll post about working out or life or something not removing hair related soon, I promise.
