Oh dear...

So today, after visiting with Janna, Scott, Karmyn and Rachel (!) I went to Superstore to get food for my lunches for the week. While I was there, I was like hmm...what can I get to eat for my very late supper? I know! Ramen noodles!


As I was walking down the aisle, I realized something.


Thanks to dad, I am a ramen snob.


I walked right past the MSG free noodle bowls, the Mr. Noodles and the no name brand ramen.

Nothing but Sapporo Ichiban ramen noodles for me.

Original flavour, made according to the directions on the back.


But only if I'm using Shoal Lake water. They don't taste right otherwise.


If I have no such water, they must be drained, and about 1/2 a tablespoon of butter or margarine added so that the noodles don't stick together, then add the seasoning.


A close second is the Sapporo Ichiban Chow Mein noodles, with the little dried seaweed flakes they come with.


None of the other flavours or brands will ever hold a candle to Sapporo Ichiban.
