So this morning, my dad and I took a couple hours, and we washed and polished my car. The transformation is ridiculous. Here is a side by side comparison of a pic I posted about a year ago, and one that I took this afternoon. It also now has a cracked windsheild, and bigger tires. But it looks like it was repainted. That's how dramatic the change is. It's no longer a tomato-ey orange. It is RED. Like the Gremlin is meant to be. Behold!

Granted the first pic was taken with a much crappier digital camera, and I think the day was a wee bit more overcast, but still.
Here's a pic from when we just had half of the roof finished.

It is beautiful, and unrecognizable!
B-E-A-Utiful! I lurves it!
Aww...if it had been me, I totally would have given you a ride, even though the three that got put in the back seat would be nasty for squished. Way to be sure it's my Gremlin:
-Winnie the Pooh seatcover (drivers side)
-grey furry seatcover (passenger side)
-Winnie the Pooh steering wheel cover
-rainbow tie-dye beanie baby on the dashboard.
Oh, and don't forget, kissy-prints on the side windows. Uh-huh. They did NOT wash off one of the windows. I offered to clean them as only Da Mamma could, but Nargus thinks they are funny. And it is the Gremlin, after all.
Oh yeah, the pictures do not lie. The difference is exactly that dramatic. The family is starting to refer to it by its old name, "The Little Red Racer".
Yay for my lip marks on the car!!
I had a feeling they were gonna be yours!
