Oh my freaking goodness!

From left to right: Paul Williams, Jessica Harper, William Finley, Gerrit Graham, Peter Elbling, Archie Hahn, and Jeff Comanor.

Holy CRAP!! Tonight is totally the most memorable night of my life so far. Even more so than the night I met Kalan Porter. Tonight...was PHANTOMPALOOZA!!!!!!!!!! Aunty and I went to the afternoon showing of the movie, and the Paul Williams concert afterwards. It was amazing to watch the movie with so many other fans. Everyone applauded whenever a main character was introduced. The documentary was really interesting. It was great to hear about how Paul Williams was glad that he hadn't gotten cast as Winslow, because, and I quote "Bill Finley inspires more emotion with that one eye and a single tear than I have in my entire career."
I mean...I got to breathe the same air as Gerrit Graham. That may not be a big deal to you, but it's a big deal to me. The seriously tragic thing is that Gerrit had to leave the autograph session before I got there. Apparently I'm not the only one that loves Beef. It seems that everyone was so eager to meet/talk to Beef, they were totally holding up the line, and not paying like, any attention to the other stars, so he left early. Which I was upset about at the time. I mean, I can understand why he did it. I'm just tres dissappointed. But I did meet, and get an autograph and picture with Paul Williams and Peter Elbling(Harold Oblong). For those of you that don't know, Peter Elbling is totally my favorite out of all the Juicy Fruits.

He's the one in the center with the wicked bad makeup.

He called me pretty, and he was the only one that asked my name. As we were walking away, I was like "Harold FREAKING Oblong KNOWS MY NAME!!!!!" I was almost hysterical. And he was so nice, and he and Archie Hahn were totally goofing around during the Q&A session, it was hilarious, whenever they decided that Gerrit was getting a little too long winded, they would pretend to fall asleep.

I was almost wetting my pants excited here. As you can tell by my manic grin. But I mean, really, this is the guy that sings Somebody Super Like You. Seriously. Dude.

Aunty and I with Paul Williams.

It's a wee bit blurry, because I had forgotten to turn the flash on my camera on, but it turned out pretty well. He was a complete sweetheart as well. It was amazing, at his concert, practically everytime he opened his mouth, everyone went absolutely CRAZY! He was like, "I know you all won't believe me, but this doesn't happen to me everywhere I go." It was amazing. He finished singing Beauty and the Beast (the Phantom's Theme), and the crowd went WILD, and he was totally emotionally overcome, you could hear his voice catch, he was like "I don't know why the rest of the world didn't get this, but I'm so glad that you guys did." I read in an interview that the first time that he came to the 'Peg after the movie came out, he felt like one of the Beatles.

I had taken our least worn out copy of the record case of the soundtrack to get signed, but I never got the chance to go to the car and get it, so I bought a poster thingy and got it signed instead. I'll take the record next year, if they have it next year.

But now I'm off to bed, because tomorrow, it's home again, home again Jiggety Jig.
