I don't really have much to say, so this will likely be short. It's been pretty uneventful around here. I had a calculus test today. I failed it. I'm not even going to be optimistic about it. I couldn't remember how to find slant asymptotes, and I can never keep the Mean Value Theorem and the Extreme Value Theorem straight, and I HATE proving theorems with a passion, and we had to prove Fermat's AND Rolle's. And I couldn't remember either of them. But, I'm 99% sure I got 2 out of the 3 anti-derivatives right. So yay! But enough of this depressing-ness.
I'M GOING HOME TOMORROW!!!!!!!
That's right, I get to go home for (most of) Reading Week. I am so excited. I didn't think that I was nearly as homesick as I am, until I started thinking about it. And after I get back on Thursday, I get to do nothing (ie. sleep) for a day, and then on Sat, Henk's plane comes in, and I'm kidnapping him (Amma's going to help, she's the getaway car driver), and we're going to see Men In Kilts and Ashley MacIsaac play at Festival. WOOT! So incredibly pumped for that. Woo Hoo for MIK! And for Ashley!
For anyone (read: probably everyone) that wasn't sure how Aoibheann is supposed to be pronounced, according to behindthename.com, it is pronounced EE-van, and it means "beautiful sheen." And I just thought it was pretty.
Well, I have a linear algebra test tomorrow, and I still have to pack, and do about 19,700,396 other things before Amma gets here at 3. So tootles until we meet again.
PS There are pictures if you scroll down.
