Back where I was.

Alright, so here I am. 2006 finds me sitting here at my computer, wishing that I didn't feel so clueless when it comes to Calculus and Physics. My lab partner is dropping the course, so I'll have to either join another pair, and make a group of 3, or do them by myself. Or a combination of the two.
Josh Groban is ridiculously talented. You know how some singers just have to open their mouths, and let one note out, and you feel your insides melt? In the song Never Let Go he sings the line "Turn your head up to the sky/Nothing down below." It is so beautiful. Wow.
Kalan Porter is like that too. I hope he fixes his hair and gets rid of the necklace before he puts out his next album. At last year's Canadian Idol finale, his hair was oddly 2-toned, and it was kind of stringy and puffy at the same time. I don't know what kind of look he was going for, but unless it was "strangely effeminate pop-rock star," I think he missed.
Why are textbooks so bloody expensive? I think all teachers get this list, and they pour over it, and say "Look! There's the most expensive textbook for this subject! That's the one we'll use!" It's ridiculous.
I wish I knew where my orange CD case was. It has about a million (well, maybe closer to 15) of my burned cds in it, and my Kalan Porter cd, and my Phantom of the Paradise soundtrack (which I want back with a passion). I even went so far as to download some of my favorites from it. Probably not the most legal way of going about it, but I don't want to buy another copy of it, but I don't know where my copy is at the current time.
I had banana-chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. They were really good.
I got the coolest little mini-mouse for my lappy. It has clear sections, and a little led light inside, and it glows like, 7 different colors.
I have no idea where I'm going to work next summer. I really don't. Cause CAP is just a July/August job, and I don't feel like sitting around on my patootie for all of May and June. But seriously, there is NOWHERE to work in small towns.
I'm torn between hacking all my hair off to the length I had it Christmas '04, and keeping it long, and trying to grow it out. Cause I love having long hair, but it's so much easier to straighten if it's short. Plus, if I just put in a little bit of gel, and let it air dry, it curls nicer when it's shorter. But I love having it long. It's just long and-well, long. Albeit a little more work. But yeah, Nargus is conflicted.
I had leftover banana-chocolate chip pancakes for a before-supper snack. They were just as yummilicious as they were before. A little bit colder, but still nummy.
I dyed my hair over the holidays, and it's still fantastic. I love being able to put my hair up in a messy bun and not see the obvious difference between my dark brown roots and faded orangey ends. It's all brown now. *biggrin*
My poor little piggy socks finally bit the big one. HUGE hole in the bottom of one. I mean, I've had them for almost 7 years. They're old socks. It was bound to happen sooner or later. But it's still sad.
I am so excited for Festival this year, even though Janna, Henk, Cassie, and the rest of the crew won't be there. Why you may ask? Men in Kilts are playing. Not only that. They are OPENING FOR ASHLEY MCISAAC!! I know right. So beyond exciting. I mean, MIK would be fantastic enough by themselves, but with Ashley, ohmigawd, it will be MINDBLOWING!!!! I am stoked beyond belief.
So, I think I'm going to wrap this up.
So: Where can you see lions? Only in Kenya!

lol your little comment about Josh Groban made me remember how great he is, and reminded me of the fact that all my music got wiped from my comp, so I am now in the process of getting all my josh songs back =D
