Weird

So apparently today was "Crazy People Talk To Brynne At Bus Stops" day. I get out of class, and I'm standing in the shelter, and this lady comes up to me, and she's like "Excuse me, do you have the time?"
Not that unusual. I don't have a watch, but I say to her "I'm not sure, but I left my class at 8, so it's around there."
Again, not that unusual. But her response is what floored me. She looks me right in the eye and says "It's 8:06."
I was kind of like "Huh?"
"It's 8:06."
First thing to run through my mind...if you know EXACTLY what time it is, why are you asking people?

So we kind of stand there in silence for a bit. Then she askes, "Waiting for a bus?"
No sweetheart, I'm standing in this freezing, wall-less bus shelter for fun. I love the pain of feeling my frostbitten toes gradually thawing out. Weird personal kink.

Then she disappears somewhere. Whatever. Then this guy walks past, mumbles something at me about the missing wall of the bus shelter, and how it's freezing. Or he might have said something completely different, I could only make out every third or fourth word.

But now I'm home, I'm eating pizza, and the only conversations I have to deal with are normal ones...like about making homemade hummus.

But I think Auntie and I are going to watch a film. Something about vessels and pestles and chalices and palaces. It looks promising.

YAY FOR READING WEEK!!!

I had a guy come up to me once and asked me if I had just seen Jesus.
