Reminiscing...

So even though I got a lot of really awesome presents for Christmas this year, I have an official favorite. Shirley gave me Auntie Effie's favorite cookbook (The Mennonite Treasury of Recipes), and a picture of me, when I was about 2 or 3, doing dishes with her. I didn't realize how much I miss Auntie Effie until I was flipping through it, and I noticed her writing next to recipes she liked, and that made me think of helping her make noodles for chicken noodle soup, or the production that was the day she made more chocolate chip cookies. I wish we had counter space upstairs. I want to go bake something.
