But it got better...

So today sucked. I stayed up pretty much all night reading crap for my paper. Then, around 8:30, I fell asleep and woke up at noon. So there went 3.5 hours of potential essay writing. After spending 2.5 hours attempting to work, and getting next to nothing done (aside from my citations) I packed up my lappy and headed for the university, hoping that a school-like setting would kick my butt into working. It did. I was thrilled. It still took me almost 6 hours to write, and I will probably still lose 2% because even though it's technically the due date, the prof won't get it till tomorrow, or Monday (the next "School day") But I don't care. Because it's finished, and handed in, and a 55% is a hell of a lot better than a zero. No matter how you look at it. And I realize that I shouldn't have had to bust my butt like this, but I could just NOT get motivated to start. I'm just generally not motivated right now. Although the prospect of finishing exams and going home is an exciting one. But then, after I handed in my paper, the day got better. I walked out to the bus stop, and I was a little nervous, because even though 9:30 isn't that late, I was by myself, and there were these two strange guys in the bus shelter. But anyways, I'm standing there, listening to them talk about what they ate for breakfast(eggs with onion bits and some kind of meat), when who should walk up but Terrell and Zach! And I came out of the shelter, and I was like "Dude!" and they were like "Brynne!" and they gave me a big hug (at the same time) and picked me up, and it generally made the day alright again. So I was no longer alone at the bus stop, and we were taking the same bus, so we chatted until my stop. Boys, I hope you have fun at your sleepover. And now I'm at home, and I'm eating mashed potatoes with gravy. Which has pretty much fixed everything that the hug didn't.
