Days off!

Today was a good time! I spent last night at Janna's, and then this morning, Henk came over for what was supposed to be a Gremlin trip to Brandon. Silly Gremlin decided to flood, and I didn't have the energy or the patience to bother taking off the air filter and holding the choke open, while someone else tried starting it. So we ended up taking Henk's car instead. Which was probably the better choice, because we got to listen to Janna's new Billy Talent cd on the way home. My stereo had been acting weird for a few days, and then the other day it just stopped working at all. And it's not the stereo, I think a connection on the back rattled loose or something. Cause it doesn't just not play cds, or not the radio. No sound comes out, but the stereo looks like it's working. And I couldn't find a Philips head screwdriver at Janna's. Which is probably a good thing, because I was fully prepared to take the dash apart and try to fix it on my own. I wonder if Dad put steering fluid in it. It wasn't groaning when I drove it home tonight like it was yesterday.

Work has been terrible (long hours, on my feet for all of them, and just a complete lack of staff) but I have today, tomorrow, and thursday off. So tomorrow I'm totally going to do a bunch of laundry (it's not a fun job, but it has to be done) and bask in the glorious clean-ness of my room. Anyone who has seen in the past will probably have a heart attack if they could see it now. I have a floor people. An actual carpet! Whee! Right now, there's a massive pile of dirty clothes on the floor, or else I would take a picture, and capture it for posterity.

I really have nothing else to say.

Wait, yes I do. Jared, if you ever read this--I am amazed at how long you managed to put up with my younger brother without tearing your hair out.

There. Now I'm done.

He's totally in Winnipeg for the summer, taking some course thing, and coming home on weekends.

Holy mother, who knew mentioning Jennifer Aniston would cause such a stir in the livejournal / blog world? I feel like dising someone else to see the response!
By the way get rid of the annoying word verification thing, it sucks.

Consider it gone.

Yay!!
But seriously, the whole thing...it makes me feel attacked or something...like my character, who I am. Perhaps I've over-reacting, but Alison said something about pointing out my flaws - does not liking a celeb make me flawed? I don't like how that was worded, I guess I'll just keep it all to myself next time.
